St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church To Sponsor
Slavic Dinner Wednesday, April 13, 2016
St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church will sponsor the Slavic Dinner on
Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The dinner will be
held in the St. Mary Parish Center, 1900 Brooks Boulevard, Hillsborough,
NJ. The cost is $14.00 for adults (ages 9 and up) and $5.00 for Children
(8 and under) and includes all you can eat Pirohi, Stuffed Cabbage,
Kielbasa and Sauerkraut, Mashed Potatoes, salad, dessert and beverage.
Each month a special entrée will be specially selected and prepared by St.
Mary’s chef John Pagano. Dinners are held on the second Wednesday of
every month throughout the year. Orders to go are available. For more
information contact: St. Mary’s at 908-725-0615. The May dinner will be
held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016.

Українська Католиська Церква Святого Архистратига Михаїла при 1700 Brooks Blvd., Hillsborough, NJ, запрошує всіх приєднатися до нас на Панахиду, яка відбудеться 13 березня 2014 о 8:00 вечора.
Парафія складе жертву тих, хто віддав своє життя на захист свобод громадян України на Майдані (Площі Незалежності в столиці України м. Київ) у лютому цього року. Після Панахиди парафіяни читатимуть імена "Небесної Стоні".

The Parish Family of St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church, located at 1700 Brooks Boulevard, Hillsborough, NJ, invites everyone to join us for a Requiem Service to be held on March 13, 2014 at 8PM.
The parish is commemorating the sacrifice of those who gave their lives in defense of Ukraine’s liberties on the Maidan (Independence Square in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv) this February. Following the service, parish members will read the names of “Heaven’s Hundred,” the individuals killed by actions of the government.

У неділю, 9 березня, о 2 год. по обіді у церковній залі відбудеться концерт, присвячений 200-ій річниці нородження Т.Г.Шевченка та пам’яті Героїв України — “Небесній Сотні”.
Запрошуємо парафіян та гостей на концерт та обід (вартість $ 10). Усі кошти будуть перераховані сім’ям загиблих Героїв України.

St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Hillsborough, NJ cordially invites you to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Taras Shevchenko’s birth. The event will take place on March 9th, 2014 at 2:00 PM in our Parish Hall. This concert will also be dedicated to the memory of the Heroes of Ukraine — “Nebesna Sotnya” (Heavenly Hundred). We invite our parishioners and guests to attend this concert and luncheon (cost of $10). All proceeds will be forwarded to the families of the Heros of Ukraine, who laid down their lives for Ukraine.

Heads of Ukrainian Churches pray for Ukraine in Washington, DC

Washington, DC -- Patriarch Sviatoslav celebrated a Moleben to the Mother of God for her intercession for a peaceful resolution to the turmoil in Ukraine on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at the Taras Shevchenko Monument in Washington. Patriarch Filaret also joined the Ukrainian Greek Catholic clergy. Many faithful were also present to pray for peace in Ukraine.

The Shevchenko Monument has served as a gathering place for the Ukrainian-American community for 50 years. This was especially true during the communist era when Ukrainian-Americans would gather to call attention to the denial of basic freedoms and human rights to the people of Ukraine by the communist overlords.

Archangel Ukranianian Catholic Church

St. Michael’s is a Ukrainian Catholic Parish of the Ukrainian Archdiocese of Philadelphia PA that was established in 1950 by Ukrainian immigrants that settled in the Manville area. The first Ukrainian Catholic liturgy was celebrated by Rev Joseph Atamaniuk on January 7, 1951. The first church building was purchased in 1952. Today we celebrate services in a new church building that was blessed in 1988. For parish activities we have a parish hall that was completed in 1996.
